High and low Terry
The common relief patterns formed by high and low Terry circles are obtained by weaving high and low Terry circles on the terry machine of double nose sinker in combination with film selection. For example, when knitting on CPE jacquard terry machine of Mayer west company in Germany, the film selection device can promote the sinker in two stages: the sinker is in the middle, forming a low Terry; The sinker is in the innermost position, forming a high Terry circle.
Another way to form high and low Terry is to use the high temperature shrinkage of nylon. The specific method is as follows: take polyester yarn as the ground yarn, and weave Terry circles alternately with polyester yarn and vinyl yarn. After the grey cloth is dyed at high temperature, the vinyl yarn shrinks, and its Terry circles become low and concave, forming a concave convex feeling with polyester Terry circles, resulting in the effect of embossed patterns.
